A full walkthrough of Space Island from the ‘Poptropica English: Island Game’ created by Pearson Education Limited (Available only on Google Play and iOS App Store). Space Island was originally an island from the Pearson-created internet game known as Our Discovery Island.
Our Discovery Island was created in 2011 by a branch of Pearson, an education company, known as ‘Pearson English’ as part of the Our Discovery Island educational program. The program is catered towards English learners and was one of Pearson’s best selling Primary courses. The program consists six-courses of ascending levels. One of the programs features is the Online world (game). Those that play Poptropica might know this as ‘Orange Poptropica’ due to the game running on Poptropica’s AS2 engine and having an orange-colored theme instead of the familiar blue. The online game consists a total of six islands that correspond to the course levels: Family Island (Level 1), Tropical Island (Level 2), Space Island (Level 3), Film Studio Island (Level 4), Ice Island (Level 5) and Future Island (Level 6). The online world is playable only to those who have an access code, which is found on one of the program’s books.
‘Poptropica English: Island Game’ is part of the educational ‘Poptropica English’ program which was also created by Pearson.

The program was released several years later sometime in 2016 and served as a successor to Our Discovery Island. The program is very similar to Our Discovery Island. It is a six level course consisting of Student Books, Workbooks, Teacher’s Book, and CDs. Poptropica English also released six books, which were based off of six islands from Our Discovery Island. Each book varies from six levels of English language difficulty. The six books are ‘Poptropica English: Family Island Adventure’ (Level 1), ‘Poptropica English: Tropical Island Adventure’ (Level 2), ‘Poptropica English: Space Island Adventure’ (Level 3), ‘Poptropica English: Movie Studio Island Adventure’ (Level 4), ‘Poptropica English: Ice Island Adventure’ (Level 5), and ‘Poptropica English: Future Island Adventure’ (Level 6). Poptropica English also had an Island Game known as ‘Poptropica English: Island Game’, a free mobile game available on Google Play and iOS App Store. Unlike Our Discovery Island, the game does not require an access code to play. The game consists of the same six islands from Our Discovery Island, all of which are available to download for free.
